Asics x ISSEY MIYAKE HYPER TAPING

The HYPER TAPING has been reinvented by Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE. Originally inspired by archival wrestling and athletics shoes, this silhouette combines traditional influences with modern materials and design details.

The upper features influences from the HYPERPOWER. A combination of smooth and ribbed leather is combined with shiny faux leather overlays and textured mesh inserts. These features are balanced by a criss-cross Velcro strap that is incorporated into the ASICS stripe logo on the sides.
